Focus on long playing music tracks this week2 min read

This week we have been focusing on adding to, and curating, our collection of long-playing royalty-free music tracks here at Shockwave-Sound. 

15-minutes tracks for videos and presentations

There are times when you need a music track that doesn’t end in 2 or 3 minutes, but rather, keeps playing for an extended period of time, such as 15 minutes or even longer, before it ends, or before you have to restart it. 

Due to several requests over the past few months, for such long-playing stock music tracks for download, we’ve spent some time and energy on creating 15-minutes, seamlessly repeating, “remixes” of many of our most popular background tracks. At the time of writing this, we have 111 music tracks that play for 15 minutes continuously.

These music tracks are highly useful for various types of uses and projects, including as:

• Music for Powerpoint slideshows where you need the music to keep playing continuously without stop for an extended period of time.
• Music for YouTube videos of, for example, creative projects where the video shows extended footage of work being done, or a process going on over time.
• Music for interactive applications such as online training, education, and coursework, where users get presented with options or questions on-screen and there may be an extended waiting time before the user finishes and goes to the next section.
• Long-playing Telephone hold music.
• Background music for live events, stage productions, and more.
• Music for corporate presentations.

60-minutes tracks for relaxation, meditation and background use

We also have a selection of 9 tracks (at the time of writing) that play for a full one hour each, of deep relaxation music, blissful and ethereal music with a sense of wonder and spiritualism. These tracks are not “extended remixes” of tracks that started out as shorter (“normal length”) tracks. Rather, they were created from the beginning as hour-long musical journeys that keep moving, changing, and evolving, without ever getting repetitive.

With these extra-long playing relaxation music tracks, we’re not talking about repeating the same few minutes of music over and over, but an actual hour-long musical journey that was composed as such.

Lastly, we have a selection of on-location 100% natural recordings of nature sounds and natural environments, recorded over a full one hour duration in various beautiful locations around the world.
