Lyrics: | You look so pretty dear, standing in the rain Throwing darts that miss their mark and falling in love Yes, you loved me once No matter what you say right now I don’t believe you anyhow There’s no existing in a place you can’t exist Take it from a person who still exists in it Half past dead and gone The thing I miss the most since you have left Is holding you in my arms as you slept God played a dirty trick on us And made you stay with me I didn’t know it was only temporary Hmm, hmm, hmm… I would like to know How many ways must a fool lose in love Until he’s shouting at the skies above Now it’s much later and the ground we stood upon Continues shifting as we race toward the sun Yes, we’ve carried on The years went by before I knew what to do I’ve met another who looks exactly like you God played a dirty trick on us And made you stay with me I didn’t know it was only temporary |

Zoo Pilot is a newly formed indie rock band based in Austin, TX. Comprised of former members of Sleep Station (Eyeball Records), Zoo Pilot combines the classic sounds of bands like the Beatles, Kinks and Zombies with modern indie-rock sensibilities to create a unique, timeless sound.
With Brad Paxton handling vocals and guitar and Josh Nichols on bass and drums, the group looks forward to bringing their diverse sound and often left-of-center lyrical themes to the many music fans of Austin and beyond.
They have lent their compositional and production talents to a number of television shows, including CBS's Cold Case, American Idol Rewind and the Showtime series Shameless. They record and mix their songs at Brad's home studio in South Austin.
