Abigail Mettry is a classically trained pianist recording well-known as well as original pieces, ranging from contemplative to adventurous in sound. Her piano playing has been recorded in Nashville studios, and she specializes in improvisations and playing by ear.
Abigail taught herself to play piano at the age of five, and studied with Julliard graduate Judith Petersen. She holds a Master degree in Piano Performance from Indiana University in South Bend, and taught piano as adjunct faculty while studying under concert pianists Ketevan Badridze and Alexander Toradze as a member of the renowned Toradze Piano Studio. She has also taught piano as faculty at Belmont University School of Music in Nashville, TN.
Currently living in Colorado, Abigail records and composes pieces for solo piano, media and music licensing.
