Here's a wonderful collection of music influenced by the sound of the 1920's through 1940's USA. Touching on jazz, blues, gospel and ragtime, these tracks will get your toes tapping!
These tracks are of course highly useful for historical productions, documentaries, dramas and comedies set in the Prohibition era USA. But beyond that, these tracks will work well in many types of contemporary productions including advertising, games and apps, animations etc.
All tracks feature live performances and tend to use a lot of piano, drums, upright bass, trumpet, trombone, clarinet and banjo.
The band pictured on the album artwork is not the actual band playing this music. That's just a public domain photo of a band called the Owls from New Orleans, the photo was taken in 1922. The music on this collection was for the most part composed and played for us by our very own Jeremy Sherman, of whom we have an in-depth article / interview here, for those who want to know more about the composer. With two additional tracks composed by John Francis Jorgensen.
Each track are available in various versions / mixes / edits / loops. All in all this collection contains 85 music files (from 11 different main compositions).
The price of the music collection includes a license to use the music commercially and in public, as per our License.
This downloadable product is an 883 MB .zip file containing all the tracks in full CD-quality uncompressed WAV files (16-bit, 44.1 khz). High Definition (24-bit) audio files are available on request.
