SP Audio, run by Chris Southward (Dubstep and Drum and Bass producer), studied BA Music Production at Leeds College of Music, UK. Chris has been a musician from a very early age, playing multiple instruments eg Sax, Flute, Piano, Guitar, Bass and Drums. At the age of 16, Chris appeared on Radio 1 with his Pop/Rock band AcousticBox. University changed his goals and introduced Chris to the world of composition giving birth to his dubstep alias "Side Projekt" where he works closely with Leeds producers Ruckspin, and Octane and DLR.
SP Audio was set up in Jan 2012 as an outlet for music that varied from the "Side Projekt" material, mainly aimed at films, adverts and moving image in general. Previous jobs include River Motion Group Showreel Soundtrack, Royal Wedding Jewellery Advert, Englands North West Ident, Liverpool Airport advert (KLM Flights), Aintree Racecourse/Grand National/Ladies Day Advert 2012.
