Lyrics: | As younger man I thought I had it all I became invincible, you would’ve given me anything but then a few years later when it all came down I found myself lost and laying on the ground I’m lost alone wandering down this empty road where I am, man I don’t know but I’m coming home And you’ll be there with a smile right on your face Now I know the meaning of grace so I’m coming home I’ve learned to take it in and lose myself sometimes You can keep the money, man that’s just not for me through the years I’ve learned to lay it all down And keep my knees locked kneeling right on the ground So I’ll never be lost alone wandering down that empty road where I am, man I’ll never know so I’m coming home And you’ll be here with smile right on your face now I know the meaning of grace so I’m coming home I’ve learned to take it in and lose myself sometimes |

My name is Brooke Gerhart and I’m a Alternative/Country artist based out of Nashville, TN. I grew up in northeast Pennsylvania and started playing several instruments at a young age. At 16, I bought my first drum kit, taught myself to play them, and started my first band.
After a few years and a few bands, I felt a stronger calling to branch on my own project as a singer and pour my heart into a solo career with a bigger purpose. In December of 2010, I released my first full-length album as a solo artist.
In February of 2013, I released “Ode to India” which was an acoustic album inspired by a mission trip to Bangalore, India.
My musical goals have learned to lose their time frames and expectations...I realize I’m not the one in control of all this, but I know now that I’m doing exactly what I was made for. I now strive to leave a legacy of love through whatever music or art I release.
Thanks for being a part of it.
