Lyrics: | Well hello my dearest friend you don’t look so good so tell me how you’ve been it’s been too long and it kills me to see you like this life has chosen you as it’s victim and I know that isn’t fair but how can you expect to survive You’re running and hiding and pulling away from everything that’s falling apart but when will you learn that the best way out is straight through the fire I know it might be hard what won’t kill us makes us strong I will you be there when you fall, you’re not alone I will be there when you call I will catch you right when you fall Call me insensitive but how can you expect me to help you with your excuses and pre-requisites to dealing with the problems that just won't go away as you soak in all your sympathy and look for another way to feel whole inside |

My name is Brooke Gerhart and I’m a Alternative/Country artist based out of Nashville, TN. I grew up in northeast Pennsylvania and started playing several instruments at a young age. At 16, I bought my first drum kit, taught myself to play them, and started my first band.
After a few years and a few bands, I felt a stronger calling to branch on my own project as a singer and pour my heart into a solo career with a bigger purpose. In December of 2010, I released my first full-length album as a solo artist.
In February of 2013, I released “Ode to India” which was an acoustic album inspired by a mission trip to Bangalore, India.
My musical goals have learned to lose their time frames and expectations...I realize I’m not the one in control of all this, but I know now that I’m doing exactly what I was made for. I now strive to leave a legacy of love through whatever music or art I release.
Thanks for being a part of it.
