A melancholy and otherworldly violin and brass melody rides over an ambient soundscape to start. The rhythm becomes apparent when the military style Tom Tom drum loop drops in. Cello phrases complete the groove later in the track and a tinkling piano stab echoes throughout. Works well for post-battle scenes and general desolation and barrenness, could also be used for expeditions or mass movement of people. Epic, in an understated way.

I started in music as a house music Dj in the nineties and got into recording and producing from there. Over the past ten years I've worked on lots of different projects including producing a rock album for BMG and a world-wide dance-floor smash for Anjunabeats. My main genres tend to be hard edge break-beat rock, chilled out grooves or funky dance music. I operate out of my home studio in picturesque Donegal, Ireland and my influences range from Dj Shadow to Debussy! I love making music and believe it to be the most powerful and special ideas and feelings.
