Lyrics: | You’re making your plans While a wise man talks You take a look at his long black coat There’s a chance That he could be wrong And you won’t thank him for what he’s sold No no no You don’t care about diamond rings They lead to misery To unpleasant apologies You don’t need to be beautiful So cold so cynical Don’t call me Don’t call me stranger You’re cleaning your hands While she plays the part She looks so pretty but not so young And she stands like a movie star She’s tried to speak but she’s gone too far No no no You don’t care about shiny dreams They lead to misery To the game of reality You don’t need to be glamorous So pure so glorious Don’t call me Don’t call me stranger And your smile Reveals a strong belief An ironical mischief But sometimes you said that you don’t deserve this You don’t care about diamond rings They lead to misery To unpleasant apologies You don’t need to be beautiful So cold so cynical Don’t call me Don’t call me stranger Call me stranger |
