Lyrics: | Life is pretty calm today The perfect time That makes you brave People come across the road They carry on and carry on You just step outside And everyone turns to see you run Why d’you run Miles beneath your Converse Star London speaks without a stop All this noise around This noise around it sounds so sweet Inside you ears A singer’s scream You can’t believe you’d ever feel The joy of being wet With the rain in March It’s the rains that wash away the signs The blueness of your eyes Staring at a stranger’s door The sky is pretty dark today The perfect time To keep it safe But you are the only one The only one with soaking feet Through London’s streets Who wants to breathe All the perfumes of this City Wet by the drops Of the rain in March It’s the rains that wash away the signs The blueness of your eyes Staring at a stranger’s door And the rains wash away the lies Oh no you can’t deny That somehow you can feel reborn The rain in March It’s the rains that wash away the signs Oh no you can’t deny Oh no Wash away, wash away the signs The rain in March |
