Lyrics: She crossed the finish line in record time
When I saw that girl, I fell in love
I was down that day, feelin’ super zero
It takes work to cheat, she became my hero

I wanna ride that train (3x)
Like Rosie Ruiz did

Nineteen-eighty was a suspect year
Nothin’ tricklin’ down, no more billy beer
Here comes Rosie in her subway shoes
Not a scuff on them and shes’ on the news

I wanna ride that train (3x)
Like Rosie Ruiz did

Could such a girl be true to me?
If only somewhat conditionally
Or would I be another scam?
A royal goat, a tender lamb
Or would she give a cut a to me?
We’d be stars, get shit for free
We could run a bank
Into the ground
And get bailed out
Make our mommas proud

Solo

Its not whether you win or lose
Its where you place the blame (4x)

I wanna ride that train
Like Rosie Ruiz did (6x)

Said Dave: "I enjoy making a living making music as there is something always new to learn. If you know one instrument, you can learn another. If you know how to engineer one style, you can always learn another. My main question I ask myself when writing and making music is "what gives you goosebumps". The mechanics of songwriting and engineering can get quite technical, however at the end of the day its what makes you feel something."
