Lyrics: So here I am tonight
You say you don’t want to be alone
And maybe I’ll feel alright
If I could just stop holding on

You ask me if I’m in love
If someone’s swept me off my feet
But I still feel the same
Since the day that you left me

So don’t ask me about myself
Cause I don’t have anything left

Won’t you say goodnight?
Won’t you just say goodnight?

I held on for so long
To the way it used to be
The sunshine in your smile
Now it’s just a memory

Won’t you please just let me go?
Cause I don’t want to waste one more night
Somewhere in the dark, I need my brand new start
I’m tired of hurting
Tired of crying
This life’s going to change
Things won’t stay the same
So please say goodbye and go
Cause I just cant say goodnight

Said Dave: "I enjoy making a living making music as there is something always new to learn. If you know one instrument, you can learn another. If you know how to engineer one style, you can always learn another. My main question I ask myself when writing and making music is "what gives you goosebumps". The mechanics of songwriting and engineering can get quite technical, however at the end of the day its what makes you feel something."
