Lyrics: She cries herself to sleep most every night
So many loved her, but they always had to say “goodbye”
And now she wants to find a simple man
Someone to stand by her and to always understand

Chorus: She wants someone to love her
Someone to hold her
Someone to know her very well
She wants someone to give her
A life to remember
Someone to love and never let her go

She meets a stranger’s eyes as they both pass
He lights her fire, now she wonders if this flame will last
Her heart is saying “give this one a chance”
He softly kisses her and she knows that this could be her dance

Chorus

Bridge: However far that love may be
She makes her lonely heart believe
He’ll walk into her life and bring her joy

Chorus: Then she’ll have someone to love her
Someone to hold her
Someone to know her very well
He’ll be someone to give her
A life to remember
Someone to know her very well

He’ll be someone to love her
To always think of her
Someone to know her very well
He’ll be someone to give her
A life to remember
Someone to love and never let her go

Said Dave: "I enjoy making a living making music as there is something always new to learn. If you know one instrument, you can learn another. If you know how to engineer one style, you can always learn another. My main question I ask myself when writing and making music is "what gives you goosebumps". The mechanics of songwriting and engineering can get quite technical, however at the end of the day its what makes you feel something."
