Lyrics: | My mom he was arrested And my father she was deported Now I must go And start the show Freaky circus freaks These are my new ma's and pa's They raised me unnaturally Now I'm doing the best I can When I get blue I know what to do I take a cruise in my tiny car And see my friends at the nudie bars, yeah The philosophy of a clown Is to never have a frown That's why I take these pills They make my worries nil I have my act down pat Just put the saddle on the cat I ride him all around Then run from the cat, for my life and out of town When you get old You do what you're told Just keep taking those happy drugs And touch all the women with the well-hung jugs, yeah Mom and Dad, you betrayed me That is why I'm a freak My new parents were killed The trained lion was never drilled I laughed sadly at the news Now I've got the blues Ma's and pa's always gave me pills Will I get sad and ill I must now roam the streets For happy drugs I would kill some deadbeats Crime is so fun Hit and run Happy drugs and money really get me far The fuzz will never outrun my tiny car, yeah |

Zoo Pilot is a newly formed indie rock band based in Austin, TX. Comprised of former members of Sleep Station (Eyeball Records), Zoo Pilot combines the classic sounds of bands like the Beatles, Kinks and Zombies with modern indie-rock sensibilities to create a unique, timeless sound.
With Brad Paxton handling vocals and guitar and Josh Nichols on bass and drums, the group looks forward to bringing their diverse sound and often left-of-center lyrical themes to the many music fans of Austin and beyond.
They have lent their compositional and production talents to a number of television shows, including CBS's Cold Case, American Idol Rewind and the Showtime series Shameless. They record and mix their songs at Brad's home studio in South Austin.
