Lyrics: | Got to roll with punches, just to stay alive but I know that I love her, and her role in my life have I broken a promise, although I'd never lie Have I noticed something that's gone in my life My life, it grows, inside, it shows the promise of love You know, it won't hide, the unbroken promise of love It may go in a heartbeat, in the blink of an eye But I never was someone, just along for the ride Might have thought of something, but it wasn't right Just a broken addiction, to the cares in my life My life, it grows, inside, it shows the promise of love You know, it won't hide, the unbroken promise of love Got my sights set on one thing, and I can only try Leaving nothing to chances, like a thorn in my side Made it over the mountain, to the other side Gonna jump in that river, where the sun will rise My life, it grows, inside, it shows the promise of love You know, it won't hide, the unbroken promise of love |
