Lyrics: Drivin’ lonely miles
Speedin’ through this town tonight
Headlights in the rain
Tearin’ through the storm outside
Aimin’ me to you

I can feel you in my arms
I can almost taste your kiss
Girl your shinin’ bright
So I’m gonna follow this road
To get to you

Put the city in my rear view
They’re pointin’ me towards you
Burnin’ through the black night
Just me and these headlights

Ain’t held you for so long
So I’m not gonna turn around
‘Til you’re smilin’ right in front of me
Dancin’ in the glow
Laughin when we hit the ground
In these low beams
I can feel you in my arms
I can almost taste your kiss
Can’t fight it anymore
So I’m gonna follow this road
To get to you

This life won’t get the best of me
Gonna light the road ahead of me
They’re showin’ me the way
To a brighter day

Put the city in my rear view
They’re pointin’ me towards you
Burnin’ through the black night
Just me and these headlights
Solo
Chorus

Said Dave: "I enjoy making a living making music as there is something always new to learn. If you know one instrument, you can learn another. If you know how to engineer one style, you can always learn another. My main question I ask myself when writing and making music is "what gives you goosebumps". The mechanics of songwriting and engineering can get quite technical, however at the end of the day its what makes you feel something."
