Composer, vocalist, and band director JARED CHANCE TAYLOR (b. 1993, NJ) draws inspiration from a vast repository of music's definition to create raw, potent, and meaningful art. Amidst maintaining a consistent performance career, Jared has devoted the past several years to developing an ear for production and mixing. He has engineered for a variety of artists including Jíj, Quarantine, and Von Allaman, in addition to engineering his own work. He has also enjoyed assisting film music professionals Eric Allaman & Patrick Russ in arranging, editing, and composing.
Jared has composed for a number of film productions, including those of Miniac Films and Red Flag Productions. His work has been showcased at a number of film festivals including the Los Angeles New Wave International Film Festival, Manifest Showcase, QFest NJ LGBT Film & Digital Media Festival, and Reel Stories Film Festival.
From childhood, Jared has had a diverse musical background. Playing guitar for gospel bands at his local church to singing in classical opera productions, Jared has been exposed to a rich multitude of musical styles--all of which have contributed to his stylistic voice.
