Lyrics: | There’s a place that I can go and I know you will be there Cuz lately baby I’ve been traveling so far and wide And I don’t even have the sense to call you on the phone I’m standing on the bank and you’re nowhere in sight I’ve got holes In my shoes Honey, I need you I need money for gasoline I need money to buy some things I need money and I need it fast I need money, just please give some to me I reminisce about the days we used to spend hand in hand I could always count on you to wash away my rainy days But the distance between you and me feels like a thousand miles You’re everything I need and I don’t ever want you to change I’ve got plans I’ve got dreams Baby, give me green I need money to fly to Spain I need money for sweet champagne I need money and I need it fast I need money, just please give some to me You never give me any credit You’re the secret to my success I need money for a garden gnome I need money for designer clothes I need money for a private jet I need money for French baguettes I need money for a tambourine I need money, for shaving cream I need money and I need it fast I need money, so please give some to me |

Said Dave: "I enjoy making a living making music as there is something always new to learn. If you know one instrument, you can learn another. If you know how to engineer one style, you can always learn another. My main question I ask myself when writing and making music is "what gives you goosebumps". The mechanics of songwriting and engineering can get quite technical, however at the end of the day its what makes you feel something."
