Lyrics: | Squad showed up for the party And I’m just trying to turn up We showed up for the party I’m just trying to get drunk We showed up for the party every shorty thinking that they in love but when we showed up to the party The whole place just got crunk Walk in with stacked model and a half bottle two sips and two shots and suddenly that’s hollow Let’s party! Where are all my people that love To not give a WHAT, party, and throw ya hands up I’m talking right now, pass around glasses Drinks up, while all the girls around me are shaking their asses I’m like, Oh God, oh no, Lord, I’ve sinned Forgive me for the place, my mind’s inserted me in I walk up to a girl holding a bottle of gin Grab the bottle, say thanks n then go talk to her friend I say hello, I love your body and the way that you bend Then sit back just taking her in, “damn” Now there’s this bedroom that she’s taking me in, she tells her friend n suddenly both them follow, walking me in like Woo!, back party and then I look up, n see my boy Jace walking on in Squad showed up for the party And I’m just trying to turn up We showed up for the party I’m just trying to get drunk We showed up for the party every shorty thinking that they in love but when we showed up to the party The whole place just got crunk We rollin’ in through the front door, jaws on the floor So fly like they never seen an airplane before We’re moving through the foolishness, head for the kitchen See my partner macking on a couple of chickens We ain’t even been here about 5 minutes Girls leaving they man just to try to be with us If I don’t call her baby, then she surely ain’t sitting Wanna play the game, better play your position first Long hair back, ass up in the mini skirt Like, how’d it fit in there but shorty you make it work Now work it out like a treadmill And bend it over to the front like I’m throwing bills Feeling so blessed, exhaling all my stress Shorty try to check me out, so what’s next Well I got something to drink and something to smoke So you’re rolling with the best from the east to the west coast It ain’t even something, another week another party Girl, at least we popping, showed up with a bunch of bottles And got the place jumping like a trampoline do Lucky 3’s got ice, so I got to raise the roof Hands up, ya put them hands up All these girls at the party just can’t get enough I mean the way she drops on down is like damn I think that it’s time for a private dance I want you, naw girl I need you I’m 10 drinks deep and all of your clothes are see thru I think it’s time to call it a night, me and you Let’s go back home and do what we’re supposed to do Squad showed up for the party And I’m just trying to turn up We showed up for the party I’m just trying to get drunk We showed up for the party every shorty thinking that they in love but when we showed up to the party The whole place just got crunk |

Said Dave: "I enjoy making a living making music as there is something always new to learn. If you know one instrument, you can learn another. If you know how to engineer one style, you can always learn another. My main question I ask myself when writing and making music is "what gives you goosebumps". The mechanics of songwriting and engineering can get quite technical, however at the end of the day its what makes you feel something."
