Lyrics: | Your feet will hold your body straight Your knees will bend whilst running away Your hips will bare for us our child Into a world ruin grow Your hands still hold my body close Your eyes will hold onto my gaze Your hair does linger in the wind Bend and turn like the rolling sea We. Will. Gather. Pace along the way. I need your calm to fill me whole Where the wind blows hard and the air is cold I want to see all my worries fade In the distant sun, like a passing rain We. Will. Gather. Pace along the way x2 You walk on golden sands all day The glass it scatters in your wake The air is salty to your cheek The sea breeze kisses you and me Can you hear it? Can you see it? Can you feel it? Coming closer. (we will gather pace) |
