Slow and sad song. Dealing with the death of someone close and ruminating on what happens after you die. Gentle and sparse with acoustic guitar and clean electric guitars.

Lyrics: | Some people say When we up and die away You’re just moving on For more For something else to be Me, I don’t agree When you’re gone, you are gone And nothing more to see For sure, for anyone at all That’s why when you went away I stood for days in the rain In never-ending pain Still Be still Still be still Be still Still be still Until I’m gone I got friends who pray Unto the Lord above each day Hoping that their words are heard I can’t see the point I’ve tried and tried, but these eyes don’t lie Hatred, violence, pestilence and still Be still Still be still Be still Still be still Be still Still be still Until I’m gone |

Zoo Pilot is a newly formed indie rock band based in Austin, TX. Comprised of former members of Sleep Station (Eyeball Records), Zoo Pilot combines the classic sounds of bands like the Beatles, Kinks and Zombies with modern indie-rock sensibilities to create a unique, timeless sound.
With Brad Paxton handling vocals and guitar and Josh Nichols on bass and drums, the group looks forward to bringing their diverse sound and often left-of-center lyrical themes to the many music fans of Austin and beyond.
They have lent their compositional and production talents to a number of television shows, including CBS's Cold Case, American Idol Rewind and the Showtime series Shameless. They record and mix their songs at Brad's home studio in South Austin.
