Lyrics: | Roadside Blonde I was suddenly distracted from behind the wheel I know the guys will know just how I feel when a roadside girl came into sight She had a lingering walk under pedestrian lights She was a 10-meter circle male hazard zone An unmistakeable 10, and resolutely alone CH: I was struck by a roadside blonde She stole my attention but it wasn't for long I was struck by a roadside blonde Flickin' her hair and singing her song Suddenly my wheels are riding on the curb and I broke free of her spell, completely disturbed I wasn't even watching her for very long and that was all it would take, and now I'm singing this song CH I was suddenly aghast at the video feed as she sauntered across the intersection between columns of cars going the opposite way, with no apparent concern for the chum in her wake. I was swerving to miss her as she walked on the red, ignoring the lights beeping overhead. Now I suddenly return from my memory lane and I saw that girl looking roughly the same, now wakin' up beside me and no more on the road. The streets of our town, she now leaves them alone. CH |
