DomPRO, whose real name is Dominik Melzer, is a 38-year-old artist who calls the city of Leoben in Austria his home. As a talented sound engineer and imaginative composer, he has accumulated approximately ten hours of music material, creating outstanding works in both the realms of pop music and orchestral music.
DomPRO's musical journey began at an early age when his parents introduced him to the masterpieces of Mozart, Ennio Morricone, Johann Strauss Jr., John Williams, and Hans Zimmer. These legendary composers would become a lifelong influence, providing him with the inspiration for his own musical journey.
After discovering his passion for music, DomPRO pursued formal education to perfect his skills. He successfully completed his training as a sound engineer at the renowned Academy Media in Graz. However, his ambitions extended beyond the technical aspects of music production. He chose to study musicology at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz to gain a deeper understanding of musical theory and composition.
Not only in sound engineering but also in composition, DomPRO constantly strove for excellence. He deepened his knowledge and skills through numerous online courses, including the prestigious Evanant courses. This investment in his artistic development expanded his repertoire and enabled him to create even more versatile and emotionally captivating musical works.
To further enhance his knowledge and skills, DomPRO participated in Joel Dollies' online course in orchestral sound engineering, learning from one of the best experts in the field. This additional training opened up new creative possibilities and helped him refine his abilities as a composer of orchestral soundtracks and film music.
DomPRO's vision for the future is to make his music accessible to a broad audience and touch people's hearts with his emotional and melodic compositions. He dreams of one day conducting a concert with a real orchestra, transporting his audience into a world of music inspired by his musical idols.
