A very strange, odd, weirdly mechanical sounding piano and percussion tune, like mechanical toys or strange machines. Suitable for strange sci-fi material, film noir or dark future visions. It has a certain retro quirky horror feel, like "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events", "Dark City" or Tim Burton's "Corpse Bride". The alternative version that we have titled 'Lost 40's recording' (see below) has deliberately been made to sound like a very old lo-fi recording.

The Futz Butler (real name Paul Sumpter) has been composing for over eight years encompassing everything from jazz to electronica, film music to dance music, rock to baroque.
In the UK alone he has had previous commissions from the LCP, national brewery Greene King, Nude Music and many others.
As a session guitarist and bass player, Paul has worked for the BBC, Virgin Radio, Independiente Records, Galaxy 105 Radio, Gigz Management, Aphex Guitar and Bass pedals/Lexicon studio outboard (the NEC National Music Show), Budweiser, the West Yorkshire Playhouse, EB Music and Anonymous Groove, amongst others. He has a Class 1 degree in Popular Music (major in composition) from Leeds University and has toured France, Germany and the UK extensively with various bands, as well as being an established and respected teacher both privately and at a number of music schools and workshop schemes across London.
Paul also plays piano and keyboards, sitar, drums, Latin and African percussion and sings.
