Lyrics: (Right, just loop that – yeah)

Verse
I called, I called you up on your phone today
(What, what, yeah)
A time-honoured tradition with you, you never called me anyway
(No)
No, no
(No, uh)
I called, I called to say that I am sorry
(I’m sorry babe, uh)
I guess I’m done now with you, I won’t let you treat me this way
(Done with you, no)

Chorus
Leave your name and number
And I’ll get back to you, but you never do
No, no, no
There’s no shame, no shame, no surrender
My answer’s left there for you
I’ve found someone to love me too - too
(Too-whop-whop-whop, too-whop-de-whop-whop)

Verse Two
I wish all the best, yeah, I wish you success
You’d like to be in love like a millionaire
You wanna go through life without a care
Come on baby open your eyes, come out of the clouds and stop and stare
Did you ever clock with me, did you ever take the time to see?
(So)
So many times beyond kept in love, there was enough in my account
You chose to fritter away, your love grew wings and flew south today

Chorus
